We like to share a unique story with you. Working with out of town clients looking to relocate to Columbia Lake Murray area with limited time, we found a very nice home. They made an offer on it, and they had to go back home to work.
When a counter offer came back, I checked the MLS before calling them with it, for new listings. I came across what I thought described the "perfect" home for our clients. I let them know about it and they thought it sounded wonderful.
I showed it to their daughter and they trusted us to write up an offer without seeing the house themselves. It got accepted. Weeks later they came back, prior to closing, for a visit.
When they arrived to actually see the home they purchased weeks earlier, she had tears in her eyes as we got out of the car. Once we got inside, the buyer started crying, and I started to worry whether it was a good decision or not.
